How to Build A Minimal Viable Audience

How to Build A Minimum Viable Audience

A minimum viable audience (MVA) is the smallest group of people that a business or organization needs to engage with in order to validate its product or service and begin generating revenue. The MVA is typically defined by the number of customers, users, or subscribers that a business needs in order to be sustainable and profitable. This can vary widely depending on the type of business or product, but it is often considered the minimum threshold for success.

Climbing Up the Ladder: The Road to Building a 7 Figure Business by Building a $7k per Month Business

This is a rather long title but I have to confess it is influenced by a podcast I listened to. The podcast was a recording of a  conversation between Pat Flynn and Clay Collins where Clay shared his origin story of how he built a great company… ….and he shares a path to building a business from the ground up to first $7k per month and then scaling up to a 7 Figure business. He compares the idea of Laddering to the growth of a company we all know and love…Netflix. Netflix started off by purchasing DVDs and shipping them to clients. Their business model was successful enough to have them compete and upstage Blockbuster. That was the first rung of Netflix’s ladder. Their success gave them enough leverage to implement their second rung and that was to add to their services. They did so by adding a streaming service. Consumers naturally took this move as a progression toward the service they were already providing. If you look underneath the hood you’ll realize that the company went through a major transformation. They had to hire developers, learn new technologies and add more assets to the company. They effectively grew their audience by offering their shipping and streaming services. The third rung was to leverage their second rung by adding their streaming service and becoming a production studio. I’ve personally enjoyed watching some of their original series such as Luke Cage and Stranger Things. In a matter of a few years,… Read More »Climbing Up the Ladder: The Road to Building a 7 Figure Business by Building a $7k per Month Business

Private Label Rights and A Chance Conversation

In my previous post I explained how I always seem to be attracted by the next shining new object. This is something that a lot of people deal with and I have been engulfed in it as if it were a never-ending cycle. I guess you can say from the experience that no matter what the situation I was always ready to implement new knowledge acquired and that is what has kept me moving forward. If you so happen to be in the same situation I recommend you regroup and focus on just one thing as long as you know that it works and you have proof that there are others who are successful with the methods you’re using. To continue with the previous post, my Fiverr business was still going strong, sometimes I would get more orders that I could handle and that affected my rating as seller and freelancer. When you deliver a gig late, clients can show their dismay by leaving you with a bad review. The more negative reviews you get the less trust you get from potential new clients as they rather go to a freelancer with better reviews. You can’t blame them as I would do the same thing. That was one problem that always seemed to be present, I also kept reminding myself that my goal is to have recurring passive income. Something that I would build once and enjoy the benefits month after month. I didn’t want to trade the little free… Read More »Private Label Rights and A Chance Conversation

Story Time – The Path that Lead me to Listbuilding

Before I started building my email list I was already working on a couple of online projects. I don’t recall exactly when I got started but it was around the time were people were generating a lot of revenue just by placing ads on their websites. There are services that would pay a website owner to display ads on their websites. One of the most popular one was Google Adsense. As a publisher you could sign up for an account with Google Adsense. Once approved you would place scripts on your website. These scripts would run ads that go hand in hand with the content on your website and you would receive commissions whenever a visitor would click on those advertisements. It seemed that almost everyone was talking about this on forums. I was in college at the time and needed to generate income so that I could pay my way through. I purchased a course that explained how I could build a website and place ads on them so that I too could start collecting income online. There was naturally a learning curve. It wasn’t easy back then to have a website built. You had to purchase different kinds of software and jump through hoops before you could publish a website. The recommendation was to build a farm of niche websites and to periodically publish a few articles on them so that they would rank on the major search engines. Niche Website Farm Results I set out to build… Read More »Story Time – The Path that Lead me to Listbuilding

What to Know Before Embarking on Your Journey To Entrepreneurship

So here you are you’ve reached the point where you decided that you want to create an online income that will help you pay your bills, get out of debt or perhaps even replace your current day job.

Before you can even get started you hesitate as you have a lot of questions and doubts that are stopping you in your tracks.

First of all, you do a quick search online for ways to make an additional income online and you become overwhelmed with all the information available.

Earning Digital Income On the Side

We all one way or another live a busy life. Take a typical day for example. After a long day of work, you come home and all you want to do is relax.

But you’ll be surprised how many distractions you have to deal with once you’re home.

By the time you’re ready to wind down and really relax, you look at the clock and it’s already bedtime. You’re an adult now and you know how miserable you’ll be at work the next morning if you don’t get enough sleep.

The Pursuit of Passive Income

Many of us dream of leaving our day job. Some us go on and let our careers dictate how we live our lives and others go above and beyond all obstacles to get to the point where they can decide when they can leave their day job for good. I’m sure you’ve noticed by now that there are plenty of people just like you and me who achieve this goal through entrepreneurship. I remember how I was instantly drawn in the first time I saw the show Shark tank. There are many entrepreneurs who have an idea and take action and are able to realize their dreams.  We know there are plenty of opportunities and ideas out there for us to embrace. My curiosity and stubbornness have led me to getting a taste of the world of selling products on the internet and I kind of like it. I plan to get myself fully immersed and will document my experiences through the help of this blog. Realizing what’s Possible When I first turned to the internet  for extra income, it was just for the sole purpose to help pay for my college tuition. At the time I worked in a Pizza restaurant. To run this restaurant, you would have to arrive at 8 or 8:30 am, to turn on the oven, prepare the kitchen, replenish items that need to be replenished, check the inventory etc… all to open the restaurant at 10:00 am. The restaurant operated until 9:00 pm and you would then… Read More »The Pursuit of Passive Income
